"Prince"
is a beautiful strawberry roan stallion, he was bred
by the Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen, Scotland. He
has been at Torbruad since he was a yearling and has
become one of the family.
Prince,
spent most of his time with his favourite mare,"Heatherwick
Lady Jane", until her death in 2006, he now shares the paddocks with
the other mares and in the winter he is stabled next
to Heidi and Lucy.
During
the breeding season his personality shines as he has
no vices, even when there are mares at the stud he is
a true gentleman.
The
children at the stud can be seen chatting to him at
the paddock gates and at the stable doors, where he
loves the attention that they show him, and also the
odd carrot that they provide.
